Dr Khairiyah graduated from University of Malaya with a MBBS degree in 2007 then graduated with a Masters of Clinical Oncology degree in University of Malaya in 2017. She has been working in various hospitals before joining UiTM as a lecturer in 2010. She is currently working at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz as Clinical Oncologist.

Her research interests are in advanced radiation therapy, end of life care, systemic chemotherapy, holistic medicine, public health and medical education.
