The Department of Clinical Oncology, Universiti Malaya in conjunction with the Malaysian Oncological Society is proud to be organising its 7th MSCT annual event. Since its conception in 2017, this annual event has been well-received by our target audience.

Our theme for this year is 'Empowering knowledge to combat cancer'. With the advancement in the field of Oncology, knowledge about various cancer therapies is imperative in our daily practice.

Learn the principles of various groups of systemic therapy emphasising on their modes of action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and mechanisms of resistance.

To relate the knowledge of response assessment in the management of systemic therapy.

I warmly welcome you to the Masterclass in Systemic Cancer Therapy (MSCT) 2023 which will be held on the 15th and 16th of July at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.

The event theme for this year is 'Empowering knowledge to combat cancer'. After two virtual editions, on behalf of the committee, I am thrilled to invite you to join us in a face to face event that will enhance participants’ experience and allow everybody to network with friends and colleagues with formal and informal discussions that are as important as the sessions themselves.

We look forward to welcoming all professionals, trainees, educators and students to attend the masterclass in systemic cancer therapy this year.

The programme will offer comprehensive talk on various cancer therapy including the latest treatments using evidence based practice. The content provided during the event will benefit cancer patients around the globe and in the years to come.
