Dr Fong Chin Heng
Clinical Oncologist

Dr Fong earned his MD degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2003 and completed the Master's program in Clinical Oncology at Universiti Malaya in 2012. From 2018 to 2020, Dr. Fong undertook a clinical fellowship attachment at Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada and was awarded the Best Fellow Award at Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital in 2020. Additionally, he received specialized training in the cyberknife technique from Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Dr. Fong also contributes to the education of future clinical oncologists through his involvement in the master of clinical oncology program and the national parallel pathway program, as well as the "train the trainer course" for the Malaysian national curriculum.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Fong is deeply involved in clinical research in various investigatorled and industry-sponsored phase 2 and 3 randomized clinical studies, including those in the central nervous system, genitourinary, lung, gastrointestinal, and breast, with a focus on novel treatment modalities such as immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and next-generation hormonal agents.
