Dr Najihah Abu Bakar is a Clinical Oncologist currently in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). She obtained her medical degree in University College Cork, Ireland, and went on to pursue Master in Clinical Oncology from Universiti Malaya.

 

Upon completing her gazettement, she has been tasked to set up Oncology Unit in HRPB, Ipoh. There, she navigated both clinical and administrative duties as Head of Oncology in Perak. With the HRPB Oncology Unit in operations and all necessary foundations for future growth successfully laid, she now returns to her base in HKL to continue her professional journey.

 

Her special interests are in breast and head and neck cancer.
