Dr. Norhidayu Salimin

Clinical Oncologist

Dr. Norhidayu Salimin earned her MD from Universiti Putra Malaysia and completed her Master of Clinical Oncology (MCO) at University of Malaya in 2021. She currently serves as a clinical oncologist at Institut Kanser Negara (IKN), Putrajaya.

 

Dr. Norhidayu is actively involved in clinical research as a principal investigator in multiple clinical trials, particularly in the field of breast, upper gastrointestinal and head & neck cancers. She is a core member in the development of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) services at IKN, working in collaboration with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She is also a postgraduate trainer for the MCO programme and the FRCR (Clinical Oncology) Parallel Pathway.

 

In addition, she is passionate about healthcare quality improvement as part of the State Lean Flying Squad of Ministry of Health, championing Lean Healthcare initiatives in IKN. Her vision is to enhance the accessibility of specialized cancer care across Malaysia, ensuring that every patient receives dignified and optimal care throughout their cancer journey.
