Dr Ibtisam Muhamad Nor obtained her undergraduate degree from the Royal College of Surgeon (RCSI) in Dublin, Ireland in 2001 and completed her Master in Clinical Oncology at Universiti Malaya in 2012.

 

She is now the Deputy Head of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Department, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).

 

She has special interest in dental, upper GI, breast, gynecological and colorectal cancers, and is one of the specialists leading the total body irradiation and total skin electron treatment in HKL.

 

Dr Ibtisam is also a supervisor and examiner for the Master of Clinical Oncology programme at Universiti Malaya and is actively involved in industry-sponsored research.
